FAQ

Clear answers, gently given.

Starting out

Do I need to be flexible?

Absolutely not. Flexibility is not a requirement to start yoga; it is one of the benefits that can develop through regular practice. Classes are designed for different body types and fitness levels, and you will be guided at your own pace.

What do I need for class?

A yoga mat, comfortable clothing, water and a quiet, ventilated space are enough. A small towel, yoga block, strap or cushion can be helpful but are optional.

Classes & access

What if I miss a live class?

Where applicable, a recording is available so you can practise at a convenient time and stay on track. Live sessions are encouraged for real-time guidance and community support.

Can seniors join?

Yes, provided they are medically fit for gentle activity. Practices can be adapted for different mobility levels. If you have a medical condition, recent surgery or significant mobility limitation, please consult your healthcare provider and tell us in advance.

Safety

Is yoga safe during pregnancy?

It depends on your stage of pregnancy and individual health. Please do not join a regular group programme without approval from your healthcare provider. Prenatal yoga or individual guidance may be more suitable.

What should I keep in mind while practising?

Practise at your own pace, focus on alignment rather than forcing flexibility, and stop immediately for sharp pain, dizziness or discomfort. Avoid practising after a heavy meal and do not ignore medical advice.
