Before you begin
Clear answers, gently given.
Do beginners need flexibility?
No. Flexibility is not a requirement to begin. Practices include beginner-friendly variations, and you are encouraged to work at your own pace.
Which type of yoga is best for beginners?
The best starting point is a class that is clearly beginner-friendly, taught live, and offers simple variations rather than expecting prior flexibility or pose knowledge. START YOGA™ is the site’s structured 28-day beginner foundation; DESK RESET™ is a short live experience for people whose main concern is desk-work stiffness.
Can I do yoga if I am not flexible?
Yes. You do not need flexibility to begin. Start with smaller, comfortable movements and use options such as a chair, cushion or folded blanket when helpful. Avoid pushing through sharp, worsening or concerning pain.
Can online yoga be as effective as an in-person class?
Online yoga can be a useful way to practise consistently when the class is clearly taught and you have enough space to move safely. The experience is different from an in-person class, so ask about the live format, current schedule and whether the programme suits your needs before joining.
Can yoga help with back pain, neck pain or stiffness from sitting?
Gentle movement, posture breaks, breathing and rest may be supportive for everyday stiffness from sitting. They are not a substitute for diagnosis or treatment. Seek appropriate clinical advice for severe, persistent, worsening, radiating or unexplained pain, numbness, weakness, injury or other concerning symptoms.
What should I expect in my first yoga class?
Expect simple guidance, options to make a movement smaller, time to rest, and no need to know pose names. Wear comfortable clothes, keep water nearby and set up a small clear space. Tell the teacher about any important safety concern before class.
How long does it take to see results from yoga?
People notice changes at different times. Some may feel calmer or less stiff after a session, while strength, mobility and routine usually depend on regular practice over time. No specific outcome or timeline is guaranteed.
Are the classes live?
Yes. The programmes are taught live online. The current batch schedule is confirmed with you on WhatsApp and shared in IST.
What happens if I miss a class?
Live attendance is encouraged for real-time guidance. When a recording is available for a programme, this will be confirmed with your joining details.
Can seniors participate?
Seniors may participate when medically fit for gentle activity. Please share any important mobility or health considerations before joining and seek professional guidance when appropriate.
Can pregnant participants join?
Please do not join a regular group programme during pregnancy without approval from your healthcare provider. Individual or prenatal guidance may be more suitable.
What equipment is needed?
A yoga mat, comfortable clothing, water and a quiet, ventilated space are enough. A small towel, yoga block, strap or cushion can be helpful but are optional.
Can people outside India join?
Yes. Programmes are live online and can be joined from anywhere. Contact us to confirm the current schedule in IST and joining details for your location.
What language is used?
English, Hindi and Malayalam guidance may be available. Ask about the language support for the current batch before enrolling.
How does payment work?
After we confirm suitability and the current batch details, we share the available payment and joining information directly on WhatsApp.
What is the refund policy?
Programme fees are non-refundable once enrolment is confirmed. Please read the refund policy before making payment.
Is this medical treatment?
No. The programmes are educational and supportive, not medical treatment. They do not diagnose, treat or cure conditions, and outcomes vary.
